Only seven targets matter: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and the bull. You need three hits to close each one, and you score points on the numbers you have closed and they have not.
Your turn
Three darts, tapped on the board (the little board in the header opens it). Each dart is worth its marks: a single = 1, a double = 2, a triple = 3. So one T20 closes the 20 outright.
Bull is the same idea: the outer bull is 1 mark, the Double Bull is 2.
The marks
One hit shows a single blade, two hits cross into an X, and the third stamps a gold seal — that number is yours.
Scoring points
Once you have closed a number, every further hit on it scores — until they close it too. You have the 20 sealed and throw T20? That is 60 points on the board.
When both sides have closed a number the row goes dead and greys out — nobody wastes another dart on it.
Winning
You win when you have closed all seven targets and you are level or ahead on points. Closed everything but behind? You have to keep scoring on whatever is still open until you catch up.
Good to know
That is the whole tactic: close what you can score on, and shut down the number they keep feeding on.

How to win at Cricket
Close the 20 first. It is the biggest number and the one your opponent will score on if you leave it open.
Score while you are ahead in marks. Once you own a number your opponent has not closed, every extra hit is points. A few treble 20s on an open 20 can build a lead that takes them several turns to answer.
Close what they are feeding on. If your opponent is scoring on a number, closing it stops the bleeding. The rule of thumb: when you are behind on points, close; when you are ahead, close the next number and keep moving.
Do not leave the bull for last by accident. It is small and it takes three marks (single bull 1, inner bull 2). Plenty of games are lost by a player who closed every number and then could not close the bull.
Variations and house rules
Dart Keeper plays standard Cricket: 20 to 15 plus the bull, three marks to close, points on numbers only you have closed. Other versions you will see:
Cut-throat Cricket. Points go onto your opponents' scores instead of yours, and the lowest score wins — popular with three or more players.
No-score Cricket. Nobody scores points; the first to close every number wins.
Tactics or "Cricket 10 to 20". Extra numbers are added for a longer game.
